Updating Your Profile

Your personal settings include contact information and other settings that will help your instructor and peers contact and identify you. Profile pictures are helpful by putting a name with a face. Profile pictures can be uploaded in your personal settings.

We suggest taking a few moments to view and update your profile. Follow these steps:

1. Click the Account Avatar on the far left global navigation panel.
2. Locate and click the Profile link.
3. Click the Edit Profile button.
4. Enter in the information you would like people to see.
5. While you are here click and investigate the other links related to your individual Canvas account.

 

Canvas provides individual storage space for files not related to a specific course. This file space can be accessed from the account menu. For more information about this space take a look at the Personal File Space document.
